Mission
ActionMap’s mission is to accelerate positive change at the largest possible scale, by increasing collaborative process thinking capability at the largest possible scale. Our approach is through the distribution and application of the ActionMap Toolkit, a highly effective language, method, and software application for accelerating collaboration results for strategy, effectiveness, team building and more.

ActionMap Inc

ActionMap Inc. is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and was co-founded and is co-managed by partner/spouses Jim Johnson and Anne Johnson.

Backgrounds

Jim has a B.S. in Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College, where he served as student body president.  Jim’s career includes IT development, management, support and sales, professional meeting facilitation, Tier 1 consulting account management and IT performance management and compliance.

Anne has an MBA in Marketing from UC Berkeley.  Anne’s career includes leadership roles in education, training, customer service management and professional meeting facilitation.

Development of the Method and Software
Jim and Anne co-developed the ActionMap Toolkit method in the course of delivering hundreds of flipchart and whiteboard-based meetings.  A large percentage of these meetings were with major corporations. Many of these meetings involved public agencies.

Jim wrote the prototype software and actively manages the ongoing application development efforts.
