Daana Blue Project Approach

(Draft for discussion purposes)

ActionMap online workshops for process modeling with Mary (and others if desired)  (first one, 90 minutes, then decide on the others)
–  Current activities overview
–  Individual program details as needed
–  Fund raising activities as needed

(Mapping to the “transaction level” of detail shows where the work, costs and values are, and where ideas and changes can take effect.  This is the basis for the rest of the project.)

Document creation and sharing on Google Docs (set up by Jim or Mary)
–  Project plan, meeting schedules, etc.
–  “Plan to write the business plan”
   –  Plan format
   –  Outline of document sections, with general descriptions of what goes in them
   –  Action items for completing the Plan document sections
      –  Including delegation of all sections to people with the relevant expertise

Additional workshops to include other stakeholders to collect other ideas and get feedback
– Possible survey to key stakeholders instead of or in addition to workshops

On-going “armchair consulting” to support completion of the business plan document

Additional workshops for creating consensus, solving problems, planning, resolving issues, etc. as needed.

Jim would like:
–  At the start, a brief “plain language” written agreement
–  Later, a testimonial if the project is considered to have been helpful
